I see a blue base and i want to paint it black.
I used PVA glue with sand to hide the electronic components and get a texture on the base.
I push in and twisted the ball while the glue is still wet to get a snuggle fit.
Testing with lights on.
Soaking the sand with watered down PVA glue.
I inked the whole Sand with watered down brown color. Then I cut out four small squares of paper and painted them black. I glued them on top of the LEDs to screen of the direct light when looking at the Model.
Seems to work well.
